PHSB Launches Health Help Program in Washington State
To Ensure Better Care and Increased Access to Medication For HIV/AIDS Patients Through Public Health Service Bureau
(OAKLAND) October 03, 2006 - Public Health Service Bureau, brings best-in-class software and healthcare expertise to Washington health programs. With 30,000 HIV/AIDS patients in California and Washington, the state of Washington acknowledged a need for the additional PHSB specialized services. A highly efficient pharmacy benefits administration organization, PHSB designs programs and provides customized services to public health agencies around the globe. "The PHSB proficiency ensures that current state and federal funding goes further and results in better patient care as well as increased availability of life-giving medications for more patients," commented Eric Flowers, President and CEO of PHSB.
Ramsell Corporation and its subsidiaries currently provide the pharmacy benefits management or point-of-sale processing service for the HIV Client Services Program, AIDS Prescription Drug Program (APDP). PHSB has provided these services since September 2001, as well as pharmacy benefit management services to the California AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) since 1997. These services include on-line claims adjudication, pharmacy network management, and coordination of benefits / payer of last resort administration. PHSB is positioned to continue providing pharmacy benefits management services for the HIV Client Services Program..
