The Delaware AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) was established in 1990 to provide uninsured and underinsured HIV positive individuals access to medically necessary prescription drugs. For eligible individuals, ADAP covers some or all of the costs associated with medications commonly used to treat HIV/AIDS and related complications.

What is the Delaware ADAP Program?
The state of Delaware is a recipient of CARE Act Title II funds, which is disbursed to all states and eligible U.S. territories to help improve the quality, availability, and organization of HIV/AIDS health care and supportive services, and also to provide access to high-cost pharmaceuticals through the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP).
